SESSION 1: June 6 to June 10
Beginning Fencing Camp for children aged 7 to 10 with little or no fencing experience.
PROGRAM
The campers will learn:
the history of fencing
fencing rules, protocol, and good sportsmanship
training exercises to develop fitness and flexibility
fencing tactics and strategy
footwork, bladework, and bouting in a setting that emphasizes fun and fitness.
AUSTIN FENCERS CLUB
Austin Fencers Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching and promoting the sport of fencing since 1992. Austin Fencers Club has produced numerous nationally and internationally competitive fencers.

Austin Fencers Club is located in the gym of Red River Church located at the corner of Red River Street and 45th Street.
The entrance to the large parking for the gym is on 45th Street.
Cost
$150
A $75 deposit is due upon registering and the balance due at the camp.
Please fill out the registration form, and mail it in with your deposit to the address on the form.

A 10% discount will be applied to Camp tuition for additional siblings and for all Austin Fencers Club members.
Camp Hours
Monday, June 6, thru Friday, June 10, 1 to 4 p.m.
After Camp Care Available: After camp camp til 5 p.m. is available at an additional $10 per day with a minimum of 3 fencers signed up for after-care that day.
Students provide their own snacks, drinks, and lunch.
Students should be dressed in T-shirts, sneakers, and long gym pants (not sweat pants).
NOTE: If fewer than 8 participants are registered 3 weeks prior to the first day of camp, a session may be cancelled and registration fees will be fully refunded.
