Join us for an intensive Pre-Nationals training camp with SCFC coaches Brenden Richard and the legendary Sergei Golubitsky!

Sergei Golubitsky is a 3-time undefeated World Champion and a finalist at an incredible 40 World Cups. He was trained numerous European and World Cup champions and was national coach for Germany's women's foil program.

Brenden Richard is a student of Golubitsky and is the head coach for the South Coast Fencing Center. He has trained numerous national finalists and, in 2009, was selected by the US Olympic Committee to teach foil during their Pan-America coaches clinic.

This camp is open to all intermediate and advanced foilists ages 10 and up. There will be a maximum of 24 fencers per session and registration will be done on a first paid basis. There will be two 3-day sessions to offer maximum flexibility for students. Reduced fees will be offered to those attending both sessions.

This camp will include components of conditioning, footwork, tactical development and lots of targeted bouting.

Session 1: June 22-24 (Friday-Sunday)
Session 2: June 25-27 (Monday-Wednesday)

Hours: 9:30am to 3pm daily. After 3pm, there will be open fencing and time for private lessons until 5pm. Early drop-off will be available at 9am. We will take a lunch break from 12-1pm. Lunch will not be provided; however, there are several food options within the business park (Quizos, Japanese, American sandwich shop, fast food, etc)

Fees:
$350 for one session (3 days)
$500 for two sessions (6 days)

The registration deadline is June 1st; however, we will close registration as soon as all slots are filled (maximum of 24 fencers per session).
