Three Weapon National Training Program Clinic

Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, 2013

This clinic offers training for coaches using the National Training Program, including basic and high level techniques to teach distance, timing, change of tempo, and choice reaction drills. Certification examinations will be available for Moniteur, Prevot and Master levels; required written examinations must be completed prior to practical examinations.

CLINIC COST: Members cost is $200 for full clinic or $100 for one day
Non-members cost is $250 for full clinic or $125 for one day
if preregistration is completed before 12/05/2013.

THERE IS A $1.00 REGISTRATION FEE CHARGED IN ADDITION TO CLINIC FEE; FRED FEES MAY ALSO APPLY.

Basic technique to correct on the student
Teaching distances - student control of distance – timing for the coach's actions
Footwork for the coach
How to start the individual lesson, distance, format, progressions, timing, etc
Target presentation
Coach's blade presentation, cues – coach’s on guard and hand positions, invitations for receiving the hit, replacing the student on guard, realistic blade positions for attack
Advanced techniques to teach distance, timing, change of tempo and choice reaction drills
