Weekday Fencing Camp for youths training in saber and foil. Beginners can get involved in fencing and build skills quickly, and Intermediate fencers can step up their training in preparation for the 2014-2015 fencing competition season. 9am-4pm daily.
Weekday Fencing Camp for youths training in saber and foil. Beginners can get involved in fencing and build skills quickly, and Intermediate fencers can step up their training in preparation for the 2014-2015 fencing competition season.
Camp is in session from 9am-4pm from Monday through Friday.
Daily instruction includes fencing drills, footwork, bladework, coordination and agility training, fencing games, bouting, and a lot of fun. On Friday, fencers will compete in a tournament and celebrate with an ice cream party.
Fencers should wear a t-shirt, long athletic pants, and rubber-soled shoes or sneakers. It is a good idea to bring an extra t-shirt and a sweatshirt as we are air-conditioned. Fencing equipment will be provided or you may use your own.
12-1pm is lunch, time to take a break to eat and watch a video. Campers need to bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverage, or else bring lunch money and we can get from the local pizza place.
PLEASE NOTE - Early registration fee:
$350 by June 15th.
$400 after June 15th.
$50 OFF each additional week - Register more than 1 child together or one child in more than 1 session to get the discount.
