AFM Back to Season Preparation Camp is designed to provide the best possible preparation to youth/cadet/junior fencers at the start of the 2015-2016 fencing season.
This camp will provide intensive conditioning with emphasis on special fencing related aspects of physical strength, speed, flexibility and endurance. This is ideal intensive training opportunity for competitive fencers to help them prepare for local, regional and national level competitions that start in September 2014.
Coaches will work with each participant to improve their fencing skills and get back to their competitive edge at the start of the new season. Each athlete will be challenged to think critically and develop approaches and methods to improve their fencing performance and empower themselves in competition and their own training afterwards.
Coaches will work with each participant individually to improve their fencing skills and provide constructive feedback on technique and on-strip strategies to help athletes adjust their game during fencing bouts.

The camp is directed by world class AFM Coaches Alexandr Maximovich and Natasha Maximovich, Ph.D.
Youth/Cadet/Junior fencers are invited to attend.

Price: $495
To complete pre-registration a deposit of $100 must be paid on askFRED.
Cancelation policy:
• Until July 1 - deposit is 100% refundable
• From July 1 till July 14 - deposit is 50% refundable
• After July 15 - deposit is not refundable
The camp fees need to be paid in full on the first day of camp.

• Name of the participant
• Date of birth
• Parents email and phone numbers for contact about the camp
Equipment:
Fencing exercises and bouts will be performed on electrical fencing equipment, each camper should bring:
• 2 (or more)working weapons and body cords,
• fencing outfit (jacket, mask, gloves, underarm protector, good shoes) (fencing knickers and socks are optional)
• Two changes of clothes (at least T-shirts) to change before lunch and at the end of camp.
• A healthy lunch
Space is limited so early registration is advisable.
