Techie Camp
Learn the basics of programming with the Award Winning programmable floor robot “Bee-Bot”. The friendly little robot is perfect for learning sequencing, estimation, problem solving and will over 40 commands Bee-Bot encourages increasingly sophisticated plans and programs. Cadets will work in teams of 2-3 and have fun creating mazes and obstacle for “Bee-Bot” that they will program the little robot to navigate.
Fencing Camp
This fencing camp will focus on fencing technique through game play and technique drills. They will learn the learn Engarde Position, Advance/Retreat, Lunge/lunge with motion, Footwork and Bladework. The class will learn Blade technique by utilizing state of the art electronic targets (Simon Says with a sword), traditional targets and partner drills. Each day they will suit up and bout. There will be a tournament at the end of each camp week.
