Come to presentations by national champion Adam Skarbonkiewicz and NCAA and international coach Andy Ma on Friday, October 09, 2015, at 6 pm. Presentations will be:

Foil - Andy Ma
Coach Ma is entering his eighth year as coach at UPenn. Coach Ma brings his own level of success to Penn after spending the last 15 years as President and Head Fencing Coach at the Fencing Academy of South Jersey in Cherry Hill. During Coach Ma's tenure, the program trained eight US National Fencing Team members, six national champions and one world champion. Seven of his South Jersey fencers have competed at the University of Pennsylvania, and 20 have gone on to Ivy League fencing programs. Since 1997, Coach Ma has also produced more than 200 medalists in United States Fencing Association national and NAC competitions, World Cup competitions, and World Championships. Internationally, Coach Ma coached the United States Cadet Saber team from 2003 to 2008, and in both 2005 and 2008 he was selected Coach of the Year by the U.S. Olympic Committee.

Sabre - Adam Skarbonkiewicz
Coach Skarbonkiewicz was the US National Sabre Champion in 1996. He has over 15 years of competitive experience and 16 years of coaching experience. His extensive athletic achievements include National Champion from 1995-1996; U.S. National Saber Champion, 1996; qualified for the 1996 U.S. Olympic Fencing Team; ranked No. 1 in U.S. Saber point standing (1995-1997); U.S. National Championships top three sabre team finish in '96, '97, '98; and Polish National Saber Junior champion (1990).
