The clinic starts at 7pm on Friday afternoon, with full day sessions on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Edoardo Mangiarotti (1919-2012) was one of the giants of Italian fencing, and the method originally developed by his father Guiseppi and taught by Eduardo remains important to understanding the Italian approach to the modern fencing. Over a competitive career that stretched from 1936 to 1960 he won 6 Gold, 5 Silver, and 2 Bronze Olympic Medals and 13 Gold, 8 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals in World Championships in Foil and Epee. Following retirement from competition he went on to a successful career as a fencing master.

Instructor is Maestro di Scherma Stuart Kaufman, diplomas as Fencing Master from the Circolo della Spada Mangiarotti, Milan, Italy, diploma as Fencing Master from the Accademia Nazionale di Scherma of Naples, Italy in 2003. A personal student of Maestro Edoardo Mangiarotti, he is the only Master in the Western Hemisphere authorized to award a license to teach Mangiarotti's method.
