REFEREE CLINIC with ABBAS FADEL

Come and join us for an informative Referee Clinic hosted by Abbas Fadel, a Certified Referee Instructor and an experienced and highly renowned National referee.

When: April 27, 2018 from 5:30 PM � FINISHING.

This Clinic is designed to introduce, interpret and discuss the USFA rules and their application, to fencers, coaches and parents.

The seminar will prepare you for both the online written exam as well as the practical exam.

Attending an official FOC-sanctioned clinic is a prerequisite for attempting the written exam. Once a passing grade of (90%) has been achieved on the written exam (both the general section and one or more weapon-specific sections) a referee receives a rating of "P" in each weapon passed. Further ratings improvements (1-10) can be obtained at a later date by being evaluated in a practical setting at tournaments such as the Cleveland RYC/RJCC.

Practical exam will be provided throughout the weekend at the Cleveland RYC/RJCC happening at the Independence Fieldhouse Saturday and Sunday and at future tournaments.

All participants will have the opportunity to be observed for a rating at the Cleveland RYC April 28-29.

6025 Jefferson Drive Independence OH 44131 from 5:30 pm until finish. Abbas Fadel will be available for new and up and coming refs after Saturday's events.

HYATT PLACE is the event host hotel.

COST: $75/per person paid by check or cash at the door.
