Laguna - Camp with Olympic Champion Mihai Covaliu

Laguna Fencing Center: Laguna Hills, CA
Olympic and World Champion Mihai Covaliu, member of the FIE Hall of Fame, will be joining us for an intense week of high level fencing training. He will be sharing with our campers his extensive international experience.
Competitive and aspiring competitive fencers should not miss this opportunity to work with, and get inspired by a sabre fencing legend.
Training Camp Program (Daily times: 9:30 am - 4:00 pm)
The emphasis will be on technical footwork/handwork drills and tactics. There will also be a good deal of structured bouting, video analysis, specific and general conditioning, etc. This high intensity camp will provide an excellent opportunity for fencers to improve their competitive skills.
Camp Coaches
Mihai Covaliu, Olympic and World Champion
Mihai's resume is extensive. He won multiple medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, World Cups, etc. After winning his second Olympic medal in Beijing 2008 (he also won the gold in Sydney 2000), Mihai retired from competitive fencing and became the Head Coach of the Romanian National team. His students are the 2009 Men's Sabre Team World Champions and 2012 Olympic silver medalists.
Nick Dinu, Head Coach, Laguna Fencing Center.
Coach Nick is a former member of the Romanian National Team. He was a Coach for the Romanian Olympic Junior Team and Mihai's first coach back in their native Romania.

* Siblings get 50% discount
* Payment is 50% at registration, 50% by July 15
* Late registrations (no exceptions): July 15 - July 23, camp fee will be 20% more
* Cancellation policy: an administrative fee of $100 will be deducted from all refunds. Cancellation requests with less than 5 business days notice will not receive a refund, no exceptions!!!
