Fencers bring your dads or dads bring your child(ren) for a fun day of fencing! No experience necessary! FREE for FC Members & families. $100 for non-members (up to 2) then $50/each for addt'l participants (pay at the door). Gear and refreshments provided
Join Fencers Club this Father's Day (Sunday, June 17) from 10:00-12:00 Noon for a "Dads Who Duel" fencing clinic! NO prior fencing experience is necessary! Please pre-register via AskFRED.net!
This event makes a great Father's Day gift for a fencer to give to his/her dad, or a great way for dads who already fence to have their children try fencing! Multiple generations more than welcome!
Ages/Weapons/Levels:
Ages 5 and up, all weapons, all levels
Clinic Schedule:
- 10:00-10:30: Coffee and refreshments. Gear up!
- 10:30-12:00: Fencing Clinic with our coaches and elite athletes
Clinic Format:
Led by our elite athletes and coaches, this all-weapon clinic will focus on the foundations of fencing for beginners while providing fun drills, games, footwork and bladework exercises for all levels.
Clinic Fees:
FREE for FC Members & families. $100 for non-members (up to 2 people) then $50/each for addtional participants (non-members will pay at the door in cash, CC or check).
What to Bring:
Fencers, please bring your full fencing uniform and equipment. If your dad or child will try fencing for the first time, please have them wear athletic clothes (with track pants/sweats, socks and sneakers). All necessary rental fencing gear will be provided (courtesy of our on-site Pro Shop). We will also provide light refreshments before the start of the clinic.
