The focus of this tune up camp is competition specific strategy in preparation of the upcoming Capitol Clash and February NAC.

The focus of this tune up camp is competition specific strategy in preparation of the upcoming Capitol Clash and February NAC.
Fencers may participate in 1 day of camp or both days.
Each day will have a competition specific focus.
Day 1 will emphasize how to use the length of the strip to one’s advantage. It will deepen the fencer’s understanding on how to use the strip in different competition related situations. For example situations that will be discussed, how to use the strip if a fencer is leading or how to use the strip to make up a point deficit.
Day 2 will emphasize the mental game within a competition bout. What does a fencer need to focus on in specific bout situations to hold on to a lead or regain the momentum in a bout? Coaches will use actions that each specific fencer needs to work on.
The Camp will run from 1-4PM Both Saturday January 26th and Sunday January 27th.
