Come, fence and train at this camp for all levels of fencers with a focus on intermediate and advanced fencers in preparation for Summer Nationals. All fencers must bring their own equipment. Special arrangements can be made on an individual basis. Daily $150. After 5/19, fees go up to $600 for the week.

The address will be updated when more fencers sign up. We may have it one location or two depending on the numbers. Please sign up and stay informed.

This is a great opportunity to train with Coach Tigran Shaginian who has developed several National Team members including Stephen Ewart, Madeline Kehl, Kevin Mo, Michael Raynis, and many others. We will have several top 20 fencers in attendance from Stephen Ewart, Irene Yeu, Stafford Moosekian, and Mia Wu in Junior, Cadet, and Y14 categories.

We will also have a special guest Coach from Estonia! Sergei Bobrov is the current Junior and Cadet Estonian National coach. He will be training with us from June 3rd through June 16th, 2019. Father of Ilian Bobrov who has competed in the Junior and Cadet World Championships for the past 3 years and most recently placed in the top 16 in the Cadet World Championships last year. Ilian will also be joining the camp. He has a Master of Sports Accreditation and has trained and coached several of the top Estonian fencers in both the individual and team events. We welcome Coach Sergei Bobrov to help prepare us for Summer Nationals!

We will also host training sessions on Saturdays if there is enough interest. Please let us know if you are interested.

The camp runs from Monday thru Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Sample daily schedule:
9-10am : Running, stretching
10-12pm : Techniques, conditioning, calisthenics, drills
12-1pm : Lunch
1-2pm : Resting, games, video review
2-4pm : Techniques, fencing

Fencers need to bring their own lunch and snacks or money to purchase food.

We will focus on conditioning, techniques, drills, stretching, fencing footage, and coaching during fencing situations. Private lessons can be arranged with the coaches. Please register online and pay online to be considered pre-registered. Any questions can be directed to swordsinc@yahoo.com.

Swords fencers who attend and pre-pay for 3 camps will not be charged the monthly membership fees for the month of June.
