This is a 6 hour seminar that is required to either become a nationally certified fencing referee or to meet in-service requirements for current referees. Also, a must for any fencer or parent who wants to increase their understanding of the rules of competitive fencing. Practical exams will be held Sunday, January 19th @ 6:00pm.

The Speaker:
Russell Wilson is a former chair of the Fencing Officials Commission and was a referee at the 1984, 1988, and 1996 Olympic Games for all three weapons, and one of two living people who refereed the finals in both foil and saber. He is a Certified Referee Instructor (CRI). He is one of only a handful of people to have held the category “A” international referee rating in foil, épée, and saber.
