Certified Referee Instructor, Jeff Bukantz, is one of our countrys most experienced and successful referees. He refereed his first NCAA gold medal bout at the age of 21 and has continued his refereeing career all the way the USFA National Championship and Olympic Games. Jeff Bukantz is a 2X Olympic team captain, 2X Olympic referee, NBC Olympic Fencing Analyst and a member of the FIE rules commission from 2000-2008. He is a former international competitor who qualified as a competitor for 3 World Championship teams, the World University Games team, the Pan American Games team, and 3 World Maccabiah Games teams.

Attending an official clinic, sanctioned by US Fencing's Referee Commission, is a prerequisite for becoming a certified referee. At this seminar, Mr. Bukantz will be completing two of the three required steps to becoming a certified referee. He will be completing all seminar requirements as well as practical exams for foil, epee and saber.
