AFM Epee Summer National Preparation Camp with Italian Junior National Team helps epee fencers in Youth 14/Cadet/Junior ages to prepare for their major tournament this summer. This is week 2 of the camp
This year AFM Summer Nationals Preparation Camp features members of Italian Junior National Team members, all of whom are International and National medalists, medaling and winning World and European Championships, World Cups and National Championships.
AFM Epee camp trains epee fencers to reach max performance towards the Summer National Championship in Phoenix, Arizona. The camp consists of two weeks.
Athletes will experience intensive immersion in fencing, honing specific techniques, strategies and tactics, in numerous drills and bouts and engaging in mental training for success.
Coaches will work with participants to improve their fencing skills and provide constructive feedback on technique and on-strip strategies to help athletes adjust their game.
Each athlete will be challenged to think critically and develop approaches and methods to improve their own fencing performance and empower themselves in national competition and their training afterwards.
Youth 14/Cadet/Junior epee fencers are invited to attend.
AFM Summer Nationals Preparation Camp includes:
� physical training and conditioning
� intensive footwork, drills and developmental exercises
� coached open bouting
� bout tactics and strategy,
� fencing bouting with different tasks
� fencing video reviews
Dates: Monday June 19 - Friday June 23, 2023
Camp Hours: 9am-4pm
Lunch: 12pm-1:30pm
Prices:
Early Bird (until February 15, 2023) - $700 per week
Regular Price (February 16 - May 31, 2023) - $800 per week
Late Registration (June 1 - June 16, 2023) - $900
Single Day:
$200 - Walk-ins
Space is limited so early registration is required. If registration is full and the registration is closed, please send us an email to be put on a waiting list.

Unpaid registration is not considered completed and will be charged as walk-ins on the first day of the camp.
Equipment:
Fencing exercises and bouts will be performed on electrical fencing equipment. Each camper should bring:
- 2 (or more)working weapons and body cords,
- fencing outfit (jacket, mask, gloves, underarm protector, good shoes, fencing knickers and long socks)
Cancelation and Refund Policy:
- if canceled before May 11, 2023 - $100 of the paid fees is not refundable
- if canceled May 12-31, 2023 - $200 non-refundable
- no refund if canceled on or after June 1, 2023 for whatever reason (including medical). No exceptions.
- No refund (including prorated) for unattended days
