2015-16 Torrey Challenge! Hosted by the Team Touché Fencing Center, San Diego. RYCs are qualifying paths for Summer Nationals. Registration and prepayment are required for RYC events. Important Registration details in "more info" page.

2016 Torrey Challenge RYC Events will be hosted at Team Touche Fencing Center, San Diego. We will run 10 strips (8 of them grounded strips for foil and Epee). Y14, Y12 and Y10 events in all weapons. Registration and prepayment are required for RYC events.

Cost:
Registration $30 plus $25 per event.
Double fees at the door. Cash only for late registration fees.
DEADLINE: Before Monday February 22, 2015 10pm PST registration must be confirmed and paid in full on AskFred. RYC events are run in accordance with USA Fencing rules and formats.
Tee Shirt Deadline: Complete a paid registration by February 14th to have your name printed on the back of our awesome tees!!!
EQUIPMENT: There will be a weapons check as it is required for RYC events. This will give our young fencers the practice needed for National events where they must always have their equipment checked before the start of their event. We will be checking masks, lames, sabre cuffs, body cords and mask leads.
IN ORDER TO COMPETE, FENCERS MUST CHECK-IN AT THE VENUE WITH THE FOLLOWING IN HAND:
1. A USA Fencing membership card (valid for the current competitive season); AND
2. A birth-certificate (copy acceptable) or other government-issued identification showing the fencer's birth date. USA Fencing membership card with date of birth verification confirm will suffice.
Refunds: For refund of event fees withdrawals must be received by February 22, 2016. Registration fees are nonrefundable.
NOTE: This RYC has been sanctioned by the USA Fencing National Office.
NOTE: All events in the Torrey RYC are also designated San Diego Division Cup events. Points accumulated will go towards the SD Div Cup for each age group. For more information, please visit the San Diego Div page http://www.sdfencing.com
Esgrimistas Internacionales o Mexicanos: Esgrimistas con licencia FIE o licencia de su federacion de su pais or USFA membresia. Licencias tienen que estar presente el dia del campeonato para poder competir.
