Please arrive to check in during the scheduled time. You must have checked in before the time in BOLD, which is CLOSE of registration. (Projected finish time is in parenthesis.)
PRE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
PRE-PAYMENT is required for pre-registration. With a credit card fencers may pre-register on AskFred.net. If you pre-register on askFRED, please make sure your confirmation is from the organizer and NOT ASKFRED!!

***Because discounts do expire, a request for confirmation is wise. When your registration is completed, the organizers will send you an email (via askFRED) confirming this, and your name will appear on the pre-registration page. With your mail in confirmation request, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with mail in registration, a return fax number, or a preferred email.
If your registration is being rejected for age, but you are currently listed on the National Rolling Points for the next lower age, please contact magnetfencing@gmail.com.

USFA Membership
Fencers must be a current competitive USFA or FIE Member. Proof of membership is required. All fencers who begin the registration process on FRED will receive membership status information via askFRED email using most current USFA membership data. While fencers are encouraged to get memberships directly through the USFA prior to the competition, completed USFA membership forms will be accepted at the door. If you do not have proof of membership, you will be required to complete and pay for a membership. Payment for memberships is made directly to the USFA * NO CASH * bring separate check or credit card number (preferred) for membership. Fencers under 18 years old are reminded they need the signature of a parent or guardian (not a coach) on BOTH the membership and waiver forms.
INFORMED CONSENT/WAIVER FORMS:
The Waiver of Liability/Informed Consent is required to be filled out and signed. Parent signature needed for minors. It can be downloaded from http://www.almdiv.org/Operations/WAIVERS/waiverconsent.pdf
A parent signature is mandatory on both the USFA membership form and the waiver/informed consent.
Birth year limitations (2010 - 2011 season) :
Senior Men's and Women's events: 1997 or before, or on Junior National Rolling Points List
EQUIPMENT POLICIES:
Events will all be fenced electrically. Equipment checks will consist of masks, body cords and lamés. Sabre cuffs and underarm protectors are REQUIRED including plastrons for female fencers. USFA Rules.
TOURNAMENT SHIRTS
This year, tournament shirts are being offered for pre-order Short-Sleeved ($15.00). Color and design to be announced ASAP. Shirts will also be for sale at the tournament.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
All events will be run with one round of pools being fenced; 100% promotion to a single elimination bracket of 15 touch bouts. Initial seeding, seeding after pools and final placemnts will be posted in the venue. Fencers are responsible for verifying the posted lists, and signing their pool and DE sheets.

***NOTE: CUTOFF DATE for Shreveport Hilton reservations is TBA. The hotel will continue to accept reservations after this date; however, rooms will be at the prevailing rate and subject to availability.

VENUE DIRECTIONS: Coming from the west on I-20 exit on Benton Road. Keep right on Benton Road (at the light, avoid the railroad overpass) and the Bossier Convention Center is just across the railroad track on the right.
Coming from the east on I-20, exit Old Minden Road and turn right. At the Benton Road intersection, turn right, then keep right at the light on Benton Road (avoid the railroad overpass) and the Bossier Convention Center is just across the railroad track on the right.

IF YOU CATCH A TRAIN, you can turn around and go over the tracks via the previously avoided track overpass and double back to the venue.

PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely ALL proceeds from every aspect of this tournament - entry fees, t-shirt sales, concessions, silent auction, etc. - go toward the Rose Condon Memorial Scholarship Fund. These proceeds do not benefit any fencing clubs and all committee members are unpaid volunteers that work year-round to plan and carry out this event in Rose's memory.
