PRIZES: All first place winners will receive a ceremonial sword along with their gold medal, second place will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to American Fencing Supply, third and fourth will receive a $10.00 gift certificate to American Fencing Supply. There will also be a prize given to 5-8 place...details to follow. Medals from 1st-8th place.

Venue: WHERE IS HAMILTON CITY?? It is conviently located 15 minutes from Exit 619 on Hwy 5. If you have come from Hwy 5 to get to Chico you have passed thru Hamilton City every tmie. It has the only stop light to go thru from Hwy 5 to Chico, and that stop light is right where the high school is at. AMPLE free parking. We like to name our streets with two names out here.So if you mapquest it Ca-32(or Hwy 32) is also Walker St(and 6th st) and the corner the High School sits on is Rd 203 aka Canal St.
DID WE MENTION THAT WE WILL HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AT THE VENUE!! Locker rooms with showers are also available.

SATURDAY EVENING SOCIAL EVENT: We will be gathering at Elks Lodge in Chico, Ca from 7pm - 9pm. The Lodge is located 16 minutes east from the venue. There will be a no host bar, appetiziers and we have a Tribal Origins a belly dancing troop who will be performing for us.Come and enjoy getting to know fencers from Oregon, Nevada and Southern California while relaxing at the Elks Lodge.

EVENT FEES:
Now through midnight September 22th - registration is $35.00 + $25.00 per event.

To help our tournament run more smoothly, pre payment is strongly encouraged.
If pre registered by midnite 9/22/2010 you can pay at the door with check or cash with no penalty.We do not accept credit cards at the venue.
SIGNED WAIVER REQUIRED
All fencers must sign a waiver/informed consent form. Those fencers under the age of 18 must have a parent or LEGAL guardian sign the form. No one will be allowed to fence without this completed form.
USFA RULES APPLY. Current competitive membership of the USFA required (membership will be available at the venue). You must be prepared to show proof of USFA membership or at the door, fill out a membership form and pay $60 - credit card or separate check - NO CASH. Persons under the age of 18 MUST have a parent's signature on this form.
PRE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Fencers may pre-register on line with a credit card on AskFred.net. If you pre-register on askFRED, please print off the WAIVER, and bring the signed waiver with you to check-in at SNO. There will be a $25.00 charge on all returned checks.
Email Confirmations will be sent. If you prefer to receive a confirmation by mail please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with mail in registration, or a preferred email address if different from the one on askFRED.
If you have difficulty with your pre-registration, please email the organizers and we will take care of it for you.
AGE CATEGORIES:
Entry in all events is open to all current USFA competitive members or foreign fencers holding a current FIE card, provided they have a birth year of 1997 or earlier for the 2010-2011 season or are on the Junior points list in the weapon they wish to compete.
EQUIPMENT POLICIES:
All events will be electric. Equipment checks will consist of masks, body cords and lamés. Sabre cuffs and underarm protectors are REQUIRED.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Men's/Women's Events: One round of pools, 5-touch bouts with a 3-minute time limit. 100% advancing to DE of 15 touches, no repêchage, no fence off for 3rd.
Veteran Events: One round of pools, 5-touch bouts with a 3-minute time limit. 100% advancing to DE of 10 touches, no repêchage, no fence off for 3rd.
Initial seeding, seeding after pools and final placements will be posted in the venue. Fencers are responsible for verifying the posted lists, and signing their pool and DE sheets.
Classification Changes:
Must be submitted by Wednesday, September 08, 2010 to USFA.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
If you pay and cancel before Sept. 22,2010 you get your
competition fee refunded but not the registration fee.
