Age eligibility:
Y- 8 = 2002-2004[non-USFA event, participation is at parent discretion)
Y-10 = 2000-2003
Y-12 = 1998-2001
Y-14 = 1996-1999
Tournament Rules:
All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA. Proof of current USFA membership will be required of all participants at check-in, so please bring your membership card. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door.
Competition will be run by USFA Rules. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed. Minimum 2 electric weapons and 2 body cords are required [for Y8/10 events you must have #0 or #2 blades].
Tournament Format:
If any of the events has less than 6 participants, genders will be combined. One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds. No fence-off for third place. Medals will be awarded to all (8) finalists.
Fees:
Registration fee (nonrefundable): $10
Event fees:
$25 if preregistered and payment made through FRED.
$30 if preregistered and will be paid at the door
$35 walk in, without preregistration
Refund requests (event fee only) must be received at least 2 days prior to the event.
