Meters are in effect on Saturday. Feed your meters. Cars may be ticketed or towed. (We cannot provide change.)

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME starts Sunday morning. Clocks spring ahead one hour. Please be on time, events will not be held for late arrivals.

Please have all paperwork, waivers, USFA membership, etc. completed before checking in.
Only masks will be checked.

**REGULAR FEE DEADLINE February 25, 2013.
Registration fee: $30.00, Event fee: $25.00

After regular fee deadline until March 4, event fee: $50.00.
Online registration closes March 4.

(The USFA requires that LAIFC pay a $2.00 RYC support fee per each registrant. This fee is included in the registration fee.)

Registration may be done either on-line or at the club. Fees must be paid to be considered registered. If you have not paid you are NOT registered and must pay the higher fees after Feb. 25.

Events may be mixed if enrollment is fewer than 6. Events may be separated if greater than 6.

Registration fees are non refundable. Requests for event fee refunds must be submitted by March 4, 2013.

USFA Membership - USFA rules will be enforced. All fencers must be current members of the USFA . Proof of USFA membership is either an unexpired membership card, an email from the USFA or listing on the USFA website. Membership forms will be available at the tournament or may be downloaded from the USFA website. If proof of membership is unavailable fencers will be required to submit a new membership application form with payment at the door. No exceptions.

The USFA is working towards an age verification process. This season, parents should come prepared with ONE of the following in case the fencer's age needs verification for eligibility purposes:
A government issued photo ID with date of birth included
A copy of birth certificate
Passport

Weapons are checked (weights and shims) during pools and direct eliminations for all events. Officials should be informed of all rules specific to youth events, especially that ALL Y10 events be fenced with blades no longer than 32 inches. Only masks will be checked. Names on jackets or lames are not required.

Participation at an RYC qualifies fencers for Y10/Y12 events at the April NAC and Summer Nationals.

The winners of the Y14 events qualify for Y14 events at Summer Nationals.

No points will be awarded. Seeding is firstly by national points, secondly by ranking.

Y10: 2002-2005
Y12: 2000-2003 or Y10 NRPS
Y14: 1998-2001 or Y12 NRPS

Hotel Information:
Luxe Sunset Hotel, group rate of $175 per night including continental breakfast for 2 person per room. Additional breakfast vouchers may be purchased for $15 inclusive of tax and gratuity.
