About the Classical Foil Demo:
This is an annual GMD tradition (hence the "Full Circle" name) to recognize the roots of modern fencing. Participation is limited to 8 fencers, who must be rated D or higher in modern foil. There will be no entry fees and no awards for this event. It is purely educational (and fun!) in nature. Fencers will compete using dry French or Italian grip foils (loaners available), using the rules and traditions common at the turn of the 20th century.
