Cost is paid per event, at the registration table, before close of registration. There is no registration fee!

$15 per Y14 event
$30 per Junior event
$35 per Senior event

THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD UNDER THE SANCTION OF THE BRITISH COLUMBIA FENCING ASSOCIATION, THE BRITISH COLUMBIA BRANCH OF THE CANADIAN FENCING FEDERATION, AND SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE CFF AND FIE RULES. JUNIOR AND SENIOR EVENTS ARE CFF SANCTIONED.

Note: Events will no longer be mixed if more than 6 of each gender compete. This decision will be made after close of registration for each event.

Note: We are hiring referees for this competition. It is possible that some may also compete, and if so they will only direct matches outside their own bracket.

---------- EQUIPMENT: ----------

All entrants must wear proper protective equipment (fencing jacket, plastron, breeches, mask and glove) during competition. Masks must pass a punch test (FIE label not required) and be stamped prior to the event. All fencers must wear a plastron (350 N or higher underarm protector) at all times. Weapons will be checked on the piste for all events.

Foil masks with the lame bib are required in this tournament. Masks that have been retrofitted according to the FIE specifications will be allowed.

---------- REQUIREMENTS: ----------

All entrants must have a current and validated CFF competitive license or equivalent (e.g. USFA or FIE) prior to the start of the tournament to be allowed to compete. Your CFF/BCFA membership must be in good standing in order to participate in the tournament. Memberships cannot be purchased at the tournament - please purchase your license ahead of time or we may not be able to validate it on the day of the tournament. Please note that late registrations (e.g. registration on the day of the tournament) will be subject to a $10 late fee per event.

---------- WAIVERS: ----------

The Waiver of Liability Form must be signed by all participants or their legal guardians prior to the competition. Waiver Forms will be available at the registration table on the day of the tournament. Fencers who are under the age of 18 will need to have their parent or legal guardian complete the form and hand that in at the time of registration. If you wish to obtain a copy of the waiver form, please contact us by email.

There is a large parking lot on the school grounds that we have access to. There will be signs posted near the front door of the school to lead you to the gym. We are using a secondary gym located in the centre of the building.
