Come help showcase our sport! Lehigh Valley Sportsfest (http://www.sportsfest.org) is a big multi-sport extravaganza, and fencing is right in the middle of the festival. Hundreds of people passing by stop to watch our competition--show them how much fun it is to fence.

IMPORTANT: This is an outdoor event which will be fenced on a temporary strip, and it can get pretty hot even though we'll be in the shade. Bring plenty of water, a folding chair, and a pair of regular sneakers instead of your good fencing shoes. Competition will be cancelled and refunds will be issued in the event of rain or lightning. (FRED fees are non-refundable)

You will get to fence in front of more spectators than any other competition you've been to, plus TV and newspaper photographers. There will be plenty of fencing: depending on registration, we may have two rounds of pools and fence DE out to all places in order to have competition running through the whole day. When you're not fencing, we encourage you to mingle with the spectators and pose for pictures.

Unsanctioned, but all USFA rules will be followed. Proof of USFA competitive membership required at check-in, along with Sportsfest entry form and tournament waiver. Full USFA regulation equipment required including 800N saber gloves. Sportsfest medals to top three (fence-off for third place)

Registration limited to 8 fencers in youth events and open epee, 10 fencers in open foil and open saber. E-mail to be put on the waiting list if registration full.
