More Info
UPDATE: Host hotel cutoff date changed to August 11. See below for information.

PLEASE: Read all information below before emailing with questions.

Custom Medals and gift bag awarded to top 8.

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION:

Age Requirements for 2017-2018 season which starts August 1, 2017:

Y10: Birth years of 2007 – 2010
Y12: Birth years of 2005 – 2008
Y14: Birth years of 2003 – 2006

PLEASE! Do not register if you will not fall within these age categories. You will not be allowed to fence and we will not refund your entry fees. If you are too young and have NATIONAL points which would qualify you to fence in an older age category (see below) please notify the organizer (merritt55@comcast.net) to process your entry before the deadline.

1. Youth 12 – A fencer born after 2008 can fence in Y12 IF the fencer is on the National Youth 10 Point Standings at the time of the entry deadline for that tournament.
2. Youth 14 – A fencer born after 2006 can fence in Y14 IF the fencer is on the National Youth 12 Point Standings at the time of the entry deadline for that tournament.

You must be a competitive USFA member or current member of a foreign federation if not a US citizen or permanent resident. REMINDER: USFA memberships expire July 31 so make sure you renew membership as soon as possible to ensure you are current in the database. If you are not a current member you will be required to join at the event.

IN ORDER TO COMPETE YOU MUST CHECK-IN BEFORE THE LISTED DEADLINE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
1) a COMPETITIVE USA Fencing membership card (valid for the current competitive season); AND
2) the fencer is required to provide a fully-completed waiver form that has been signed by a parent or legal guardian; AND
3) the fencer is required to show a birth-certificate (copy acceptable) or other government-issued identification showing a birth date unless officially verified by USFA.

To help us speed registration, please have all this paperwork ready at check in. This is especially critical if the fencer does not have a parent/guardian accompanying them. No one will be allowed to fence without a signed waiver form. Waivers are available through askfred and can be downloaded for your convenience.

Awards to top 8. If you can not stay for award presentation, have someone pick up the medal. No medals will be given out before the award presentation.
