The Nathaniel Ewell 3 Weapon Championships will be fenced dry on a 32 foot by 3 foot strip. The two events are a team event and an individual event.
Bouts and matches are fenced for the best of 11 touches. Preregistration required.
The Nathaniel Ewell 3 Weapon Championships will be fenced dry on a 32 foot by 3 foot strip.
The two events are a team event and an individual event. Teams will be formed from the fencers registered for the team event on the day of the event. Both competitions will be fenced as a pool unique.
Because FRED requires a single weapon to be specified, these events are listed as Foil and Epee. However, both events will be fenced for the best of 11 touches, with a maximum of 5 touches in foil, 1 touch in epee, and 5 touches in sabre. The order in which weapons are fenced will be determined by coin toss.
The team event will be fenced first, followed by the individual event. Fencers who are not fencing will be expected to serve as judges or referees. Fencers are required to acknowledge hits received.
Preregistration required. USA Fencing membership required. The Salle will be open for checkin at 1 pm. Fencing will start promptly at 1:30 pm.
