On behalf of the Mid-South fencers we would like to thank everyone for supporting this event. This tournament is held in honor of Ryder Darwin, a founding member of our club who tragically lost his life at the age of 21. He was a 3 time national medalist, a beloved friend, and drawn to fencing for the personal challenges offered to him by participation in our sport. This event began in 2014 as a way to honor his life and we are proud to offer the 2017 Ryder Cup as part of the Regional Cadet Junior Circuit and Regional Open Circuit.
