Fun & friendly. Youth events (Y8, Y10, Y12) fenced dry. Y12 final four fenced electric with loaner lames. Y14 & SR events require USFA membership & full electric. $25 reg. fee and 1st event. $10 per add. event. LATE FEE $10.
Fun and friendly sabre fencing competition at En Garde Fencing Club in downtown Ocala. Great way for kids to take the next step in their fencing careers in a low-key, yet professional, atmosphere. The Y8, Y10, and Y12 events are fenced dry but loaner lames are provided for Y12 final four bouts. Y14 and Senior events require USFA membership & full electric. $25 registration fee includes 1st event. $10 per additional event. LATE FEE $10 (day of). Fence 5-touch pool bouts with 100% promotion to 15-touch DE bouts. Fence for 3rd place- no ties. Unbiased referee, honest kids, nice parents, and fun place to be right in downtown with restaurants, art galleries, and even a farmers market. Compete, learn, make new friends, and have fun!
