Current USA Fencing Competitive, Coaching, or Collegiate Competitive memberships are required to compete. We will have forms available should you need to renew or sign up for your membership.
All USA Fencing rules regarding equipment will be enforced. We will be checking masks, gloves, and lames. All fencers competing in the sabre events must have an 800N FIE approved glove to compete.
FOOD AND DRINK: NO food and drinks are allowed in the TRECS gym with the exception of water. This is the policy of the facility and it will be strictly enforced.
PARKING AND VENUE: On the weekends there is free parking in the Student Aquatic Center lot next to the venue. There is also free street parking along Volunteer Boulevard as well as the parking lot in front of the Haslam Music Center. The Music Center lot is a little walking distance to the venue.
COLLEGE STUDENTS: The University of Tennessee Fencing Club welcomes all collegiate fencing teams. Please e-mail the organizer or fencing@utk.edu for more information about complementary housing.
All referees hired for the event are USA Fencing Certified officials with Bobby Gibbs (USA Fencing Certified Referee Observer) as our head official. Any referees interested in working the event can contact our hirer, Will Curtis at wcurtis1090@gmail.com.
