Annual "I Fence for Blood" three-weapon tournament benefiting the American Red Cross, hosted by the Rochester Institute of Technology Fencing Club. Open to fencers of all skill levels. USA Fencing membership not required.
ENTRY FEES
$20 for one weapon (and a t-shirt w/availability. Guaranteed if you pre-registered before noon on 9/25. Some extras available.)
$10 for each additional weapon
Free for spectators, but athletic shoes required for everyone in venue.
LOCATION
The tournament is being held in the Clark Gym, NOT in the Gordon Field House, where we have held our previous tournaments. Please refer to the following map: http://imgur.com/97QvCYt
EQUIPMENT
Plastrons, bibs, and long pants required. Jeans prohibited. No preliminary equipment check. No weights and shims unless requested.
We will lend gear to active RIT Fencing Club members, but cannot lend to anyone else.
ATHLETIC SHOES REQUIRED - including for spectators. The floor was just re-finished and we've been asked to not have anyone with hard-soled shoes.
OTHER NOTES
If you're coming from out of town and would like a place to stay, contact us and we might be able to put you up somewhere.
There is a spot on the pre-registration form to list your t-shirt size. If you pre-registered by noon on September 25th you are guaranteed a t-shirt in your size. If there are extras, they will be available to purchase for $10 at the tournament. We will also be selling previous year's t-shirts for $5.
