Open for all Youth foil and epee fencers (Y8/10/12/14) this event will serve as a fundraiser for Hurricane Relief Campaign organized by USFA (https://bit.ly/usafencingharvey)
That means that all proceedings from this tournament will be immediately donated to the USFA Hurricane Relief fund.
This tournament will feature:
Foil Events:
Y8 Mixed Foil - Start at 4 pm
Y10 Men's and Women's Foil - Start at 9 am
Y12 Men's and Women's Foil - Start at 2 pm
Y14 Men's and Women's Foil - Start at 10:30 am
Epee Events:
Y10 Men's and Women's Epee - Start at 9 am
Y12 Men's and Women's Epee - Start at 2 pm
Y14 Men's and Women's Epee - Start at 10:30 am
In case some events will not have sufficient amount of participants we will combine two same age events to be one bigger mixed event.
Event start times are subject to change based on the number of preregistrations.
Event fees: $25 per event paid at the door.
Additional donations to the fund are welcome during the registration.
Medals will be awarded to top 4 finishers in every category
Call for Referees:
We are calling to every referee who is willing to donate his/her time to this campaign and help the fencing community in the hurricane affected areas. Even if you can make it only for couple of hours - please let us know! The referring at this tournament will be exclusively volunteering, but all the referees will be well fed :-)
