More Info
Welcome to the 16th Annual South Coast Invitational! Our fencing community has helped to make this one of the largest youth competitions on the west coast with over 750 entries last season. This year, we will be holding a REGION 4 Regional Youth Circuit (RYC) with Youth-10, Youth-12 and Youth-14 events as well as a REGION 4 Regional Junior/Cadet Circuit (RJCC) with Junior events (no Cadet). Please note that this is a three day tournament (Friday - Sunday) held over the weekend of January 19-21, 2018.

Last year, we were saddened by the loss of Mary Rafanelli, our office manager and surrogate parent to all of our SCFC students, to cancer. Her passing left a huge hole in our fencing community and we are dedicating this tournament to her memory.

Since this RYC/RJCC will be held after the JO deadline, the age restriction for Junior events is open to 1998-2005 (as opposed to the usual 1998-2004 for this season). Points from this competition will count toward the July Challenge 2018 and the 2019 JOs (qualify lists for the 2018 JOs will have already been set).
