Registration Closes at midnight the WEDNESDAY before the event.

The above times are NOT start times! Events generally start fencing about 30 minutes after close of registration. First event of the day may start sooner.

WAITLIST
Event is limited to 28 fencers. If the preregistration is full, email info@brooklynfencing.com with the fencer's name and year of birth in order to be added to the waitlist; we will then notify you as soon as a spot opens up.

Entry & Eligibility
$45 pre-registered (eg, your name appears on Fred's list; then pay cash/check at door). Brooklyn Fencing members, register and pay at the club for a $5 discount.

$65 walk-ins at the door. We encourage you to pre-register.

Cash/check only at the door; no credit cards accepted for entry fees.

You must belong to USA Fencing or another FIE federation with proof of membership in order to compete. Join or renew at http://member.usfencing.org/
Print your membership card from the website or take a picture of it with your phone. Barcoded luggage tag is not valid proof of membership for local events as it does not show expiry.

National age eligibility requirements will be enforced; however, fencers with points in the next lower age category who do not otherwise meet age eligibility are allowed to fence; e-mail info@brooklyfencing.com to request addition to the competition. (For instance, a fencer with Y14 points will be allowed to fence Cadets.)

This is a USA Fencing and Metropolitan Division sanctioned event. Ratings will be awarded where earned.

Competition Format
One round of seeding pools with 100% promotion to direct elimination

The event will be split into separate competitions if 14 or more fencers; if on-site numbers permit, we will separate into M/W events.

LOCATION 600 Degraw Street (between 3rd & 4th Ave) Second Floor - Closest train is the R at Union Street, three blocks away. PARKING INFO: If you have trouble finding street parking (which you may not, we're just covering the bases), there are several lots on 4th Ave south of Degraw and one on Union Street between 6th & 7th Aves (http://nycparking.spplus.com/Brooklyn-798-800-Union-Street.html#Tab_coupon-rates).
