This is a USA Fencing sanctioned epee tournament with two events running in parallel: senior mixed open, and Youth (Y10Y12) mixed.
The doors open at 9:15 AM. All the fencers must be present by 10:00 AM.
Format: One round of pools; all fencers promoted into simple direct eliminations. Fencing off for the third place.
The final bout is fenced with mask lights, like in the finals of the Olympic Games and the World Championships! If you are in the finals, but are uncomfortable with mask lights, you may opt out of having the lights in your mask; if you'd like the lights but they do not fit into your mask, we'll be glad to let you use one of our masks where the lights install OK.
Entry fee: $30.
The Senior Open event is limited to 16 fencers, and Youth to 8, first come - first served. Pre-registration is required, including the payment of the tournament fees, no later than the end of the day on Wednesday, Jan 24 2018.
