PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND THE DIVISION GENERAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS ON SATURDAY AT 5:00 p.m OR AT THE CONCLUSION OF FENCING, WHICHEVER IS LATER.

Pre-Registration and payment ($25 registration and $25 per event) on AskFRED is mandatory! Registration fees are non-refundable.

You MUST pay on AskFRED by April 23rd for your registration to be considered complete. If there are any issues with online payment, contact Charise Munlin at secretary@georgia-fencing.com

Late registrations, MAY be taken at the discretion of the tournament organizers as long as they do not affect the strip or referee assignments. Late registrations will be accepted at the cost of the Registration fee PLUS TRIPLE THE ENTRY FEE. Please contact Charise Munlin secretary@georgia-fencing.com, if you need to request this option.

Late registrations will NOT be accepted for events with 3 or fewer registered fencers at the time of the registration deadline.

There will be no refunds allowed for withdrawals made after the entry deadline of April 23, 2018, except for medical withdrawals. The medical withdrawal must be accompanied by a note from a physician. Medical withdrawals during the tournament are not eligible for any refunds.

Refunds of event fees ($25 per event) will be issued for any events that are not fenced due to event registrations of 3 or fewer fencers at the registration deadline. Be sure to enter your mailing address and who the check should be made payable to during your registration. Emails will be sent via AskFRED to those who will receive a refund.

Make sure your email address is updated on your AskFRED profile so that you will receive the emails that will be sent regarding your event.

Proper equipment and clothing is required. Masks, body cords, and lames will be checked by the armorer.

USFA membership is required. You must have proof of USFA membership and your USFA membership number at the time of registration. To become a member, please go to http://www.usafencing.org.

This is a closed tournament, open to members of the Georgia Division only.

The venue will be open each day at 8:00am

DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIPS

Eligibility:
Fencers must have a classification in the weapon of C, D, E, or Unclassified at the time of the qualifying competition and be 13 years of age by January 1 of the current season.

Qualification:
Fencers must Place in the top 25% of the total number of fencers competing in the 2018 Division II Qualifying competition OR

Be on the current season's Div I-A Regional Open Circuit (ROC) Regional Point Standings OR

Be on the Div II ROC Regional Point Standings
OR

Place in the top 40% of any current season Div II or Div I-A NAC

DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS

Eligibility:
Fencers must have a classification in the weapon of D, E, or Unclassified at the time of the qualifying competition AND be at least 13 years old by January 1 of the current season.

Qualification:
Fencers must Place in the top 25% of the total number of fencers competing in the 2018 Division III OR Div II Qualifying competition
OR

Be on the Division I-A or Division II Regional Open Circuit point standings, if classification eligible, on May 16, 2018 OR

Place in the top 40% at 2017 Div III, Div II or DIV I-A NAC OR

Qualified for Division II, if classification eligible


YOUTH 14 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Eligibility:
Fencers must have been born between 2003 and 2006.

Qualifying Path:
Be on the Youth 14 point standings as of May 16, 2018
OR
Place in the top 25% of the 2018 Division Youth 14 Qualifying competition
OR
Be in the top 16 of the Y12 national point standings on May 16, 2018
OR
Earn at least 150 Y14 Regional Points during the current season(Total points = fencer's top 3 point results)

Veteran (V40, V50, V60, V70+) National Championship

Eligibility:
For each Veteran age group fencers must meet the birth years specified in Table 2.5.1

Qualification:
Must meet eligibility requirements above AND
Compete in the current season's division qualifying competition for Division II and/or Division III Championships OR

Compete in any ROC event during the current season OR

Compete in any NAC during the current season OR

Be on the Veteran Age Group national rolling points standings (NRPS) by May 16, 2018 OR

Be on the Veteran Combined regional point standings by May 16, 2018
