UPDATE 8/30/18: Per the USFA rule concerning chest protectors, we will be observing m5.4 (c):
“At all weapons, the use of a breast/chest protector (made of metal or some rigid material) is compulsory for women and optional for men. At foil, this breast/chest protector must be worn below the protective plastron. At foil, the protector will have the following characteristics: The entire outside of the chest protector (the side facing the opponent) must be covered with a soft material such as E.V.A. (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) of four mm thickness and density of 22kg/m3. (The material can be attached to the current plastic models or incorporated into the manufacture of new chest protectors). The material must have the SEMI technical mark at the center of the upper edge.”

Three USFA sanctioned senior mixed events:
Foil-9am
Epee-12pm
Sabre-3pm

Preregistration opens on 04/8/2018.
Preregistration closes on 09/22/2018.

FEES:
$30-one event
$50-two events
$75-three events

Cash or checks only.

Must be a current competitive member of the USFA prior to pre registering on AskFRED.
Must present proof of USFA membership at event when registering.

COLLEGIATE COMPETITIVE FENCERS: Make sure that your name appears on your college fencing club's roster and that the roster is on file with the USFA.

100% promotion to DE's.

Medals for first, second, and tie for third.

WEAPONS CHECK:
Foil-mask, glove, lame
Epee-mask, glove
Sabre-mask, glove, overglove/cuff, lame

**USFA conductive bib rules for foil will be enforced. Rules concerning the conductive bib on the foil mask can be found in the current USFA rulebook t.471.2

**Transparent masks are NOT permitted in any weapon.

**Masks with exchangeable bibs are allowed. If the inspection mark is placed on the bib, be sure not to change out your inspection mark!

**Anyone participating in a foil or sabre event will need 2 mask cords.

**All gloves will be checked by the armorer for integrity of material. No tears or holes will be permittedv(except for those that allow for the body cord). 800N glove is mandatory for sabre.

Free parking behind the Student Memorial Center and across the street.

Refreshments will be available to purchase on site.
