The University of Montana is hosting the Inland Empire divisional fundraiser. Fencers are encouraged (but not required) to fence all three weapon events.

The University of Montana is hosting the Inland Empire divisional fundraiser. Fencers are encouraged (but not required) to fence all three weapon events.
Events Scheduled:
Senior Mixed Foil- 9:00 am
Unrated Senior Mixed Epee (unsanctioned)- 10:00 am
Senior Mixed Epee- 11:00 am
Senior Mixed Saber- 1:00 pm
Preregistration closes on 04/27/2018.
Fees:
$15 for first event
$10 for each additional event
$10 for unsanctioned epee only
Event fees double if you don't pre-register!
Fencers will earn points for each event they fence (except for unsanctioned epee), based on how they place. The overall winner is declared the Iron Fencer, and gets their name on the Iron Fencer plaque.
In addition to the three senior weapon events, there is an unsanctioned, unrated epee event, for fencers who do not have a competitive USFA membership but still want to compete. Newer fencers are ecouraged to sign up for this!
Schreiber Gym is located in the south-east corner of campus,and has its own parking lot.
Gear is available to rent ($1/piece) in limited quantities. UM fencers get first dibs, so please do your best to find gear on your own if you are fencing a weapon you don't normally fence.
