WMFA Epee Season Opener and Team eventsAug 25, 2018
Teams can be formed at the event. Entry fee is $20 at the door and includes team event (start time contingent on the conclusion of the individual tournament).
1. Unlike our last few epee only events, the individual competition will be SELF-DIRECTED, but USFA sanctioned, therefore we will enforce all equipment regulations, including a minimum requirement of two working weapons and body cords, as well as testing weapons on the strip
2. Teams may still be created Saturday morning and those competing in the team event will not be assigned teammates as previously stated. Our goal is that the team competition will close the same time as the individual event (10:30 am). The reason for this is that the data entry process for registering teams not signed up on Askfred is significantly more time consuming than individual events and we would like to avoid a delay between the events
3. Although it is not guaranteed, it is likely that those who desire to participate but have registered a team on Askfred will easily find available teammates (early arrival is advisable in this case). In addition, please have your team order ready for the bout sheets to be printed accurately (pick an anchor). Remember that your entry fee includes both events!
4. In order to avoid credit card transaction fees, please have your
payment ready at the time of registration by cash or check ($20 per participant).
