The 2017 Moe Fencing Moe Future Scholarship Award

This year's award is made possible by Moe Fencing Foundation Inc. through the generosity of Drs. M. Tanju and Ayse G. Soyer.

Two separate gifts be awarded annually (when all conditions are met) in the amounts of $1000 and $500. Awards may increase from year to year if endowment increases.

To qualify for eligibility:
-Fencer must submit application.
-Fencer must compete in relevant tournament or tournaments (this year the qualifying tournament is Moe Power Boost
-Fencer must place in the top 8 or tournament. Awards will be given to the top two fencers with meeting all other eligibility criteria.
-Fencer must be a graduating senior in high school with a minimum 4.0 GPA and in top 15% percent of graduating class in high school and enrolled to study that Fall in an accredited four year US undergraduate institution, or full time rising sophomore an accredited four year US undergraduate institution with a minimum 3.8 GPA.
-Fencer must have applied for and been deemed eligible to receive financial aid. from the college/university they are attending or planning to attend.
-Fencer must present school transcripts and and proof of financial aid once he or she is selected for the award.
