Fencers are expected to check-in within one hour of each of their events.
Even though no payments will be taken online, all entries will be approved before posting as complete on the "Who's Coming" list.
**Annual Membership Meeting will take place after fencing on Saturday, March 30, 2019**
IMPORTANT TOPICS WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE DIVISIONAL MEETING. WE ASK THAT AT LEAST ONE MEMBER FROM EACH USFA MEMBER/AFFILIATE CLUB BE PRESENT AND EXPECTING TO PARTICIPATE. New Officers will be elected for all positions.

Any event having less than 4 registered (paid and cleared) competitors at the close of pre-registration on March 28, 2019 will NOT BE FENCED. The fencers registered (paid) in those events will be considered the only qualifiers in that event.
AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR DIVISION/SECTION/SUMMER NATIONAL QUALIFIER
Div 2/3 - 2005 (or earlier)
Y14 - 2004-2007*
(*or on NRPS for the next younger age bracket)
Format and tournament details (The Fine Print)
All individual events will be 1 round of pools with 100% promoted to a single elimination DE tableau.
Awards given to top 3 for Div 2/3 and top 2 for Y14
Original seeding will be based on classification (e.g., B13, C11, etc.). Initial seeding, seeding after pools and final placements will be posted in the venue. Unlike most regional tournaments, third place bout WILL be fenced.
All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA and citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Fencers may join the USFA at the door (online membership registration is preferred). Please bring your completed USFA membership form and signed waiver with you. USFA cards must be presented at check-in if you do not appear on or if your classification is different from the Current Members List located online here:
Fencers under 18 must have any new membership form and a waiver signed by parents. Waiver may be downloaded from the ALM website and signed by parents prior to the tournament.
Coaches signature is not valid and will NOT be accepted.
There are NO alternates for any competition at the USFA Summer Nationals Championship tournament.
Classifications can be awarded at a Division/Section Summer Nationals qualifying. Y14 events must be C1 or greater for a classification to be rated.
An athlete is permitted to fence in the qualifying competitions of the Division/Section reflected in his/her current USFA membership only IF:
1) The athlete is a U.S. citizen OR permanent resident of the United States and a current competitive member of the USFA And
2) The athlete's birth year falls in that age bracket OR
3) The athlete is on the national rolling point standings in the next younger age bracket
