Come compete at the Number One Foil Program in Texas. Please complete your preregistrations on askfred and pay at Salle Mauro or call us at (832) 778 - 8745. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the tournament with a $10 late fee for each event.
Come compete at the Number One Foil Program in Texas. We have many events available such as Senior Mixed Foil, Y10, Y12, Y14. Hope to see everyone there.
Tournament Fees:
$35.00 First event
$15.00 each additional event
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
All events will be one round of pools with 100% promotion to direct eliminations. Pools of 6 or 7 (whenever possible; however, equal pools sizes with 100% of the fencers promoted to a DE tableau.
For Y10 direct elimination bouts are 10 touch bouts (2 three minute periods with 1 minute break in between). During the 1 minute break, ONE person, designated by the fencer (a teammate, coach, or parent), may be on the strip with the fencer.
For Y12, Y14 and Senior events, DE bouts are 15 touch bouts (3 three minute periods with a 1 minute break between). During the 1 minute breaks, ONE person, designated by the fencer (a teammate, coach, or parent), may be on the strip with the fencer.
Awards will be given to the top eight fencers in each event
Waiver is available for download at: https://www.box.com/s/ssi291xvj30rrpt01uwn. Fencers must have a waiver to compete. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Preregistration opens on 09/20/2018.
Preregistration closes on 04/26/2020.
