---------- Points Information ----------

For Cadet and Junior events: Regional points are awarded to all competitors in each event, with first place earning 100 points and others receiving proportionally fewer based on the size of the event.

For Junior Olympics, fencers who have earned at least 110 points are qualified.

For the July Challenge, fencers who have earned at least 65 points are qualified.

This event is in Region 1, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Fencers from outside Region 1 are welcome to fence, but only Region 1 fencers will earn regional points in the RJCC events.

For Div II ROC events: Regional points are awarded to the top 40% (rounded up) in each event. Fencers from any region may earn points in ROC events. Earning points is sufficient to qualify for the Division II and Division III events at Summer Nationals.

Full regulation uniform according to USA Fencing rules is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed. Names are NOT required on fencer uniforms.

For foil, masks with electric bibs are required for all events.

For epee, a conductive surface can ground out the opponent's weapon. Epee fencers may NOT wear electric foil or saber masks. Two-weapon fencers must have two masks, or a mask with an exchangeable bib.

In all three weapons, hard plastic chest protectors are required for women and optional for men. In foil, fencers who wear a chest protector must have padding with an approved FIE mark. RCFC expects to have a limited quantity of the new chest protectors available for purchase.

Fencers with Cadet National points are eligible to fence in Junior events.

---------- Event Seeding ----------

Fencers' classifications and club and division affiliations will be validated against the USA Fencing membership database as of September 13th. It is the fencer's responsibility to ensure that USA Fencing has properly recorded any necessary changes or corrections prior to that date. No classification or affiliation changes will be made at the event.

Per USA Fencing guidelines, fencers will be seeded by National Rolling Points Standings as of Monday, September 10th (regardless of classification), then by classification letter, and finally by classification year within their letter.

---------- Equipment Check ----------

Please arrive early to allow time for equipment checks. We will be checking masks, lames, body cords, gloves, and foil/saber mask cords.
