Who/what is SDUF?
San Diego United Fencers

SDUF Member Organizations agree:
To provide free cross-city training to division athletes
Respect the training environment by fighting fair and hard
Respect and honor every athlete’s commitment to their club
Respect and honor every coach’s commitment to their athlete
Respect the peer relationship of professional coaches
Respect the peer relationship of fellow athletes



SDUF training sessions are designed to bring together athletes from around the region (including Mexico) to train together in an environment designed to emphasize ethical behavior in athletes, coaches and parents.

All cross club training sessions will be free to member clubs

All athletes and coaches wear the colors of their club, and cross-club coaching is not allowed.

It is prohibited for coaches, athletes, or parents from one club to approach any athletes from another club with the intent or suggestion of having an athlete switch clubs.

Safe Sport ethics for Coaches, parents and athletes are all diligently observed.

Coaches from member clubs are always encouraged to attend SDUF sessions with their athletes.

If your club is a member of SDUF, you are invited to all SDUF events

Non-SDUF club athletes, coaches and parents are encouraged to attend SDUF sessions, but must sign an agreement that they will abide by the ethical conduct laid out here. If any athlete, coach, parent, member or non-member is found to have violated these agreed upon ethics, they will not be allowed back to another session.
