SPECIAL REGULATIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:
This event will be held OUTDOORS.
Only pre-registered fencers are permitted to participate. Payment possible through ASKFRED or at the venue.
Only New Jersey Division affiliated fencers are permitted to enter.
Atlantic Fencing Academy will be following its comprehensive COVID PRECAUTIONS including contactless check-in, wearing masks, washing, sanitizing hands, social distancing. Fencers does not require to wear a face covering under the fencing mask while fencing.
Schedule:
All times are close of registration. All fencers must sign in by scanning their USA Fencing membership card. Check in opens one hour before times listed.

Refund requests must be received at least 2 days prior to the event. At the event, if a fencer decides to withdraw prior to the commencement of the tournament due to COVID19 safety concerns, will receive full refund.
In case of expected inclement weather, participants will be notified by email the evening before the event and changes will be posted on Atlantic’s website.
We retain the right to cancel an event, if there are no minimum of 6 participants per age group.

------------ $40 IF you will pay at the door - We accept cash, check
Refund requests (event fee only) must be received at least 2 days prior to the event.
Tournament Rules:
Open to fencers born 2007 or earlier.
This event is sanctioned by the NJ, and run by US Fencing Rules.
All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA.
Proof of current USFA membership will be required of all participants at check-in:
bring your membership card or have proof that payment has been made.
You may join or renew your US Fencing membership at the door.
Full US Fencing regulation uniform and equipment are required.
Tournament Format:
One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds. No fence-off for third place.
Medals will be awarded to top 8 finalists.

The state-of-the-art facility of the Atlantic Fencing Academy is only couple of minutes away from GSP Exit 109. Indoor, we have eleven grounded strips. For outdoor tournaments we have ample space for social distancing, seating for competitors and parents. Indoor restrooms, hand sanitizers and vending machine with water and Gatorades are available. Bring a big towel, if you need to stretch on the ground or want to put down your equipment on it.
