In order to maintain safe Covid Protocols, this tournament is set up differently that those previously held. Please read the following and email or call if you have any questions or concerns!
Foothills Fencing Academy is excited to announce that it will be hosting a winter classic January 30th! There will be a total of four events- consisting of youth foil y-14/12/10, youth epee y-14/12/10, sanctioned senior epee, and sanctioned senior foil. All fencers are encouraged to participate! Because of the uncertainty of Covid-19, safety policies will be in effect. This includes:
• Temperature checks when entering facility
• Mandatory face masks for those fencing and watching
• We ask that each fencer registered bring no more than one guest to the tournament
• Outdoor, covered, seating areas will be available
• Hot Drinks for Purchase- Hot Coco, Coffee-as well as cold Gatorade and water available for purchase
**We reserve the right to make changes to the tournament and procedures as needed**
Doors will open at 8am with equipment checks upon signing in (mask, glove)
Proof of USAFencing membership required
Registration will be $30 dollars per fencer. Preregistration will end 5 days before the event. All competitors MUST be registered to compete in the tournament.
