1st Official San Diego Cup Youth Foil Event of the season. Sanctioned. Youth events limited to Y10, Y12 and Y14 age groups event. Medals given to top 3 athletes. Points for all SD Cup youth events will accumulate over the season to name a season Champion.

Ref Fee: $40 pre paid through AskFred, $50 at the door. All events are capped so sign up early!

Events Scheduled:
Y10 Mixed Foil - capped at 28
Y12 Mixed Foil - capped at 28
Y14 Women's Foil - capped at 21
Y14 Men's Foil - capped at 21
Preregistration opens on 08/23/2021.
Preregistration closes on 09/25/2021.

All events will be capped, and entry is on a first-come first-served basis. Once the tournament has filled to the capped amount, a wait list will be maintained by the organizer. Please email the organizer here to get on the waitlist. ****IF YOU ARE PREREGISTERED BUT CANT MAKE THE EVENT PLEASE NOTIFY THE ORGANIZERS ASAP TO MAKE ROOM FOR THOSE ON THE WAITLIST!***

COVID-19 Guidelines (Subject to Change)
This tournament is subject to state guidelines regarding COVID-19, including assembly of persons.
COVID-19 Protocols will be implemented throughout the tournament.
As of 8/26/21, all participants in all USA Fencing sanctioned events, including coaches, athletes, spectators and staff, MUST wear a facemask that covers mouth and nose at all times, including competition.
For all entering the premises: Please sanitize your hands. Wearing of masks for non-vaccinated individuals is mandatory but optional for those who are 2 weeks past their last shot.
Fencers are advised to wash their clothes the day before they come to tournaments. Armorers have the full right to decline checking unwashed or uncleaned equipment.
We ask that fencers come to the venue semi-dressed with knickers, socks, and shoes on.
Fencers are not allowed to touch the scoring machine, weights, shims, remote and scoresheet. Fencers are not required to sign the score sheet or DE slips. Results will be posted in the venue, and uploaded to Fred upon completion of events.
We ask that fencers to refrain from shaking hands after bouts.
Anything left at the end of the day (Lost & Found) will be thrown out.
