Halloween Slash and Stab 2021Oct 31, 2021
Welcome back one and all to our first tournament in almost two years! This year's Halloween Slash and Stab is unsanctioned and open to fencers of all skill levels
The UBC Fencing Club would like to invite all fencers to the Halloween Slash and Stab. The tournament will consist of senior events in epee and sabre.
Events Scheduled:
Senior Mixed Epee - registration closes at 9:30 AM
Senior Mixed Sabre - registration closes at 1:00 PM
Events begin 30 minutes after registration closes.
Location: AMS Student Nest (new venue)
Room: Great Hall South(second floor)

Pre-registration closes: Saturday, Oct 30, 2021.
Note: Events will be cancelled if there are less than 6 people registered.

All entrants must wear proper protective equipment (fencing jacket, sous plastron, breeches, mask and glove) during competition.
---------- FEES AND REQUIREMENTS: ----------
Cost: $25 per event
$45 for 2 events
UBC Fencing Club members receive a $5 discount
Payment will be collected at the registration table on the day of the tournament. We accept cash, cheque (payable to the UBC Fencing Club),or credit.
---------- WAIVERS: ----------
The Waiver of Liability Form must be signed by all participants or their legal guardians prior to the competition. Waiver Forms will be available at the registration table on the day of the tournament; however, it is recommended that you complete the form ahead of time and hand that in at the time of registration. Fencers who are under the age of 18 will need to have their parent or legal guardian complete the form and hand that in at the time of registration. Thank you for your cooperation.
