Youth events are unsanctioned and open for current MTFC fencers. This is a great learning event for new competitors.
Senior events are sanctioned and open to any Unrated fencer. All USA Fencing Competition rules will apply and full uniform is required. If at least 6 fencers sign up, winner earns their "E".
Saturday May 21-22nd.
This will be a traditional event with pools and DEs. Registration is capped at 24 fencers competing at a time.
Seeding will be done by Total National Points (no matter fencer's age group), letter ranking, then randomized.
Event Fee is $30 per fencer, billed to your Jackrabbit account.
COVID Protocols:
Vaccine/Test: All fencers are required to either be vaccinated or present a negative COVID-19 test prior to the tournament (antigen home-tests are sufficient). Any parent or guest entering the building must also have proof of vaccination or a negative test.
Parents/spectators: Parents and spectators are allowed to enter when their fencer is actively booting, but otherwise are required to stay outside to prevent overcrowding.
Masks are required for everyone, including during bouts.
