REGISTRATION
All fencers are required to have a valid membership type for the 2022-2023 season to compete. This would include a USA Fencing Competitive or Access membership, another fencing federation membership, or an FIE membership. Obtain or renew
a membership at: https://member.usfencing.org/

FEE SCHEDULE
$45 MAF Members: Academy members who pay at the door.
$55 Full Preregistration: Preregistering and payment through Askfred prior to the day of the event.
$60 Partial Preregistration: Preregistering on Askfred, and paying at the door.
$70 Walk-Ins: No preregistration, payment at the door.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
-Full USFA regulation uniform is required
-The fencer's name is NOT required to be displayed on their uniform for this event
-All events are conducted with electric equipment. A preliminary inspection will be conducted at the beginning of each pool and DE to ensure the presence of the following equipment: underarm plastron, weapons, and body cords. Athletes are subject to prohibition from fencing if these conditions are not met.
-Fencer must have at least two working weapons, two body cords, and two head cords.
-Events may be mixed if less than 6 fencers.
-One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds.
-No fence-off for third place; Medals awarded to 3rd place.
-Fencers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all posted information and must report errors to the bout committee immediately.

PREREGISTRATION END DATE
Preregistration closes at 11:59 the day prior to the event. At which point, space permitting you can still participate as a walk-in.

CHECK-IN CLOSE TIME
Check-in closes promptly at 6:15 on the day of the event. Showing up late may cause you to be ineligible to compete and will be up to the discretion of the bout committee. If you know you are running late call us at (908) 691-3029!

REFUND POLICY
Refunds can be requested up to 24 hours prior to the event start time. Due to AskFred and not the Manchen Academy of Fencing processing your registration payment we will need your address to mail a paper check refund out to. There is a $20 administrative fee for any refund given as a result.

$12 Body Cord / Head Cord / Glove / Long Socks (Purchase)
$25 Fencing Weapon and all other equipment
$45 Additional Fee for any snapped rented weapon
