Foothills Fencing Academy will host a summer youth challenge June 17th, 2023! Events include unsanctioned Y8 Foil, Y10 /Y12 Unsanctioned Foil, and Cadet Foil. This is an awesome warm up opportunity for Summer Nationals in July. We hope to see you there!
Foothills Fencing Academy will host a summer youth challenge June 17th, 2023! Events include unsanctioned Y8 Foil, Y10/Y12 Unsanctioned Foil, and Cadet Foil.
***TOURNAMENT UPDATE*** We have decided to combine the Y10 and Y12 foil events into one event.This ensures that fencers are able to get as many bouts in as possible. The Y10/Y12 foil event will begin at 10 am on June 17th.
The Y8 and Cadet events will run as scheduled. The new schedule is as follows:
Fencers MUST preregister. No walk-ins will be allowed to fence. Payment can be taken through AskFred or at the door on the day of the tournament. We ask that fencers who plan to pay at the door bring cash payment.
All fencers must have their own equipment. We will be unable to lend equipment of any kind for any reason. Please order any equipment you may need ahead of time. The Cadet Foil event will be sanctioned. Therefore, all equipment must conform to USFA regulations for senior events. Knickers/long pants will be required for Unsanctioned Y8 and Y10/Y12 Foil.
